Hard to believe that's been almost a year since Cat's passing.  A day doesn't go by that I don't think about her in some way.  She is an unbelieveable joy to be around and I am truly blessed to have known her.  I know I'll see her again.  All my love, Freda

Cathy's friendship is the greatest of all blessings.  I have been very blessed to know her.  There are many things I will miss about her and just to list a few:  her voice, her bountiful laughter, playing jokes on people, cheating when playing jatze, puckering up her lips when she smiles, that sparkle in her eyes, her cooking, her love of others, and that huge whole body hug she gives to people. Her children have adapted all of her qualities (don't know about the game cheating stuff though) and it's fantastic to see.  Cathy lives on in them. Love to the whole family.  LOVE YOU CAT!!!!

Although I have lost touch with Cathy I will remember her always. We worked together in Labor and Delivery frequently at Mercy and enjoyed many good times.  Your wedding was the first wedding that I made flowers for.  My thoughts are with you and your family..

It's hard to say goodbye to someone who has known you for your entire life. I still cherish the stories my Mom likes to tell of the two of you pushing Christine and I in our baby carriages laughing and dreaming of the future as new moms.

Thank you for all of your kindness, support and unconditional love you have given me and my family all of these years. 

I know you are looking after my son waiting to arrive and telling him all of my secrets. I wish you could be here to hold him and share in my joy.

I hope you have found peace and happiness and a soft place to land.

Cathy was such a special person.  She touched so many lives throughout her life.  I worked with Cathy at Provena Mercy Center.  She was always alot of fun to work with, playing jokes on people or just being silly, with her contagious laugh. Although I started at Mercy before Cathy, I learned so much from her vast knowledge.  She was such a hard worker.  When I was pregnant with my twins back in 1990-91, Cathy and I worked the night shift together,  she always took the majority of the load of patients and kept telling me to keep my feet up.  I will always remember her for her kindness and laughter.  When she first came to Mercy I kept referring to her as O'Shea and she finally said to me, you can drop that "O" right in the ocean because that is where it belongs my name is SHEA.  My prayers to all of you at this time, cherish the memories you have to help ease the pain you will feel.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Cathy.  I met Cathy a little over 14 years ago when I hired in as a new grad to Provena Mercy's L+D.  Cathy and I worked the night shift together and had a lot of laughs.  I always knew that when Cathy was on it was going to be a good night no matter how busy it was.  I too remember her love for Tim and her children.  My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time.

Cathy was a great nurse and a wonderful person. We shared many memories over the years both at Mercy and at Dreyer. She was even our labor nurse for our son Matthew's delivery 18 years ago. She always loved to talk about her family and loved you all so much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I will never forget Cathy's laughter.  When she got to laughing about something with me it was the best times.  Over the past several years we spent hours on the telephone sometimes crying, but most of the time laughing  On a professional note, she was such a talented OB nurse and I learned a lot from her through the years.  Being a good nurse was so important to Cathy.
She will be missed.

With the heaviest of hearts I say goodbye to my dearest Aunt Cathy. The light of laughter and fun you brought to my life and those you touched will be forever etched into our memories. I love you Aunt Cathy, and will miss you.

Cathy was that person that no matter how long it had been since you'd chatted with her, you could always pick up where you left off.  Three memories in particular that I will always cherish is when she coached me through birthing my Katie.  She was a labor and delivery nurse at the time in Portland and insisted she was going to be there for me whether she was on or off the clock.  She was intuitive about all my needs and I felt very safe and comforted with her presence at my side.  Another time was after we moved to Idaho, we came into a particularly penniless Christmas time in 1985.  We had three kids at the time.  She sent the kids a box of Christmas goodies.  She'll never know how much that meant to us.  Of course, with great, great fondness I remember the time we spent with her and the family in 1989 when we returned to Maine to vacation with them in her home and the week together at Old Orchard Beach.  Cathy worked very hard to make the focus on others, hence her gift of nursing.  And yes, the smile, the giggles, the "let's talk about you". LORD I pray our dear sister is resting now in your loving embrace.  I celebrate your new journey in a better place without the cares of the world.  Rest, rest.  And family, Cathy gave us many fond memories, hold them close and dear to your heart; these will sustain you in your loss in the days and months to come. Seward and I's thoughts and prayers for you are before the LORD during this very difficult time.

Tim, Christine and family there was a heaviness in our hearts when we heard of  Cathy's passing. She was a kind person with a good heart.  Our little Taylor has lost her precious nanna. I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember your mom always being giggly and chipper and I can still hear her voice and hear her laugh right now as I write this.
