
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle. Funeral services will take begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 4, at St. John United Church of Christ, 1190 Olesen Drive, Naperville. Private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Cynthia worked tirelessly as a psychologist with children and adolescents who others had given up on at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was proud of her work there, but what she took the most pride in was the family she loved and cherished, especially her daughters. They will all miss her very much.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Douglas Berry; daughters, Olivia and Maggie; parents, Joseph & Donna Thompson; siblings, Laura (Rick) Cottrell, Kathy (Bob) Bird, Matthew (Jenni) Thompson; paternal grandmother, Vanda Thompson; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Jerry & Janice Berry; sister-in-law, Angie Berry, 7 nieces, 2 nephews, and 1 great nephew.
