Eleanore Krezel

She grew up in the South Lawndale area where she met the love of her life, John Krezel, at a singles dance. The two were married May 13, 1950 and had 52 wonderful years together.

Eleanore enjoyed crossword puzzles, old movies, playing bingo, and traveling to Las Vegas to play the slot machines. She was an active parishioner at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Lisle.

Eleanore is survived by her five sons, Tom (Peg), Jack (Nan), Bob (Mary Ellen), Mike (Dana), and Paul (Rhonda); grandchildren, Adam (Joyce), Andrew (Sara), Rusty (Colleen), Micah (Chanel), Kristin, Katie (Ryan), Tracy, Alexandra, and Mia; great-grandchildren, T.J., Anna, Ryan, Harper, and Tanis; sister-in-law, Laverne Krezel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her parents; sister, Josephine; and brother-in-law, Dan.

A memorial mass will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division Street, Lisle, Illinois at 11 AM.

Interment will be held privately
