Jeanette Matecki

Jeanette met her husband of 36 years, Thaddeus, through family friends. The couple were married in 1953 and had three children, Greg, Ron, and Maria. The family lived in the city and spent their time enjoying family picnics, and trips to Wisconsin Dells.

She loved spending time with beloved family and friends, especially hosting and attending parties for all she loved. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

She will be remembered for being a loving mother, wife, and grandmother.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Greg (Marianne), Ron (Diane), and Maria (Larry); grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin), Kevin, Jimmy, Andrew, and Tim; great-grandchildren, Finn, and Elise; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and brother, Henry (Anastasia).

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle, from 2-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St., Lisle, at 11am. Interment will follow Mass at Resurrection Cemetery.
