Kristina "Kris" M. Colombe

Kristina “Kris” Colombe (nee Trumpjonas), 44, passed away on June 6, 2017. Beloved wife to Ernie Colombe. Devoted and loving mother of Steve and Katie. Cherished daughter of Danute and the late Vilius Trumpjonas; daughter-in-law to the late Ernest and Florence Colombe. Dear sister of Aldona Ahlm and Nika (Eric) Buckhalter; sister-in-law to Linda Townsend, Denise Vidales, Robin Balsitis and Kim Stanley. Loving niece of Ruta (Liudas) Smulkstys, Laima Ardickas, Angelika Dudenas, and Arvidas (Rosina) Trumpjonas; aunt of Tracie (Keith) Cooksey, Kelly (Dale) Branske, Arianna Ahlm, Bob (Jen) Weir, Joe (Rachel) Balsitis, Ethan Ahlm, Xander Buckhalter, and Cole Buckhalter; cousin of Tauras (Nicole) Smulkstys, Renata Smulkstys, Ruta (Charlie) Brigden, Marta Trumpjonas, Dijana (Lee) Harker, Ziba (Scott) Irvin, and Asta (George) Bonheyo.

Kris loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed family vacations, going to the beach, being outdoors, watching her children's and husband's sporting events, reading, running, and doing projects around the house. She had a big heart and was full of love. Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed by all.

Visitation at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle (On Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden/Rt. 34) on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 10, 2017, 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 5129 Wolf Road, Western Springs, IL 60558.
