Linda Mary Schuster

Linda was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up Parma, Ohio. Before marrying Ralph she was a secretary at SOHIO. She moved from Akron, Ohio to Saint Louis, MO, then onto Kansas City, and finally settling in Chicago, following her husband’s career in the meat industry.

Linda was a dedicated housewife always showing support and unwavering love to her two sons. She cherished her family dearly always putting their needs before her own. When she and Ralph lost their son Thomas, in 2017 it brought them deep sadness and heartache, but despite this pain she was always able to find joy and light making memories with her three grandchildren. Though Linda was wheelchair bound and suffered the last few years of her life, she showed remarkable courage through it all.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation to celebrate Linda's life on Friday, June 7th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Procopius Abbey, 5601 College Road, Lisle, IL, 60532. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc Parish, Lisle Illinois.
