Nancy L. Carlson

Nancy grew up in Oak Park, IL and attended Oak Park High School. Nancy married the love of her life Marvin Carlson on February 4, 1958. Shortly after, they built a house in Oak Brook and moved from Chicago. Nancy was a stay-at-home mom with her three children. She enjoyed gardening, growing violets and orchids in their greenhouse. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and going to watch Marvin race his cars. She was an avid bridge player and started a bridge group with Carol Egan, her close childhood friend. She continued playing after moving to an assisted living home. Nancy also enjoyed vacationing with her family and after retirement, spending time in Hawaii with Marvin.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (David) Johnson; sons Daniel (Stacey) Carlson, James (Margo) Carlson; grandchildren James, Patrick, Riley, Kevin, Dylan and Leo; and brother Richard Colver. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin and brother James Colver.
