Hi Nancy, your friend "Ricky" as you loved to call me. I pray you are in a better place. I think about the good old days at Goodrich, our mutual friends & parties. 
I remember being a third wheel with Craig & you after the basketball games at the Keg & Beef in DG. You never seemed to mind. I have fond memories of you back then. I cherish the times we had then and recently.

Nancy and I worked together in Plymouth.  She bubbled!  As a primary teachers Nancy knew the importance of holidays to little children-she had a Christmas dress for every day between Thanksgiving and Christmas break.  She was always "in season."

Her infectious laugh, energy and inspiration will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew her.

Nancy was a wonderful teacher who encouraged her students to do and become their best.  She will be sadly missed by my family and everyone who had the opportunity to be to inspired by her!

Nancy was an amazing person and had the ability to make everyone believe that they were special. I first met Nancy when I was 12 and babysat for the TD boys at least once a week until I left for college. I traveled with them and have many wonderful memories of those times. 

Nancy touched so many lives during her time here, and taught me many life lessons that I still hold dear to this day. Even though the miles separated us, I always felt that Nancy still cared deeply and was always a cheerleader in my corner. 

My thoughts and prayers go out to her three boys, Chaz, Loren and Michael, who I have not seen for years, but have grown into fine gentlemen who made their mother very proud. Love to you all.

Dear Nancy, I will miss your smile, your laugh, and your nurturing heart.  I will treasure the times that you, and Kay, and shared...especially in the summers, when we laughed til we cried, no matter where we were!  I wish I could remember why we ended up calling each other Honey, but I loved it. Your kindness was a special gift that so many will remember you for. I always wanted to see you again after you moved, but I know now it will be in a better place, so wait for me and we will "do lunch"!  My thoughts and prayers are with Michael, Loren, and Chaz, and the rest of your family and friends. May they find peace in the knowledge that you are at rest.  So, fly my friend, fly to the everlasting peace, confident in the knowledge that you indeed made a difference in the lives of so many children who adored you.  I know, because they told me about it when they got to Riverview.

It is with such an incredibly heavy heart that I write this...I guess I'm still in shock. Nancy was such a great friend to me at Parkview.  She was so kind & patient with me...and her love seemed unconditional.  I wish I had been as good a friend to her as she was to me!  We'd been out of touch over the years...but the loss of Nancy hits hard.  I'm comforted that she found love again...and that her boys were always a source of joy...along with her new family!  I am deeply sorry for your loss..and that includes Nancy's mother and sister.

I'm trying not to shed tears that Nancy is gone, but rather smile because I had the privilege of knowing her. Our years at Lakeland were so much fun, especially in the Pi Kaps! It was great seeing you at the LC reunion in June...little did we know that would be our last laughs and hugs! Nanc, I'm glad our paths in this life crossed. Until we meet again - may you rest in God's palm and soar with all those angels! To Nancy's family my heartfelt sympathies! Remember "when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure...."

Nancy was a bright light in many ways.  She was always so kind to me at Parkview.
I loved hearing her hearty laugh when I would be passing in the hall. There is now another Angel in heaven stirring things up a bit. But the loved ones left behind will need time to live on without her on earth.  I will pray for all her boys, her new husband and Charlie.

Nancy was a dear person, who I was friends with at Goodrich School.  She was always smiling.  I had the pleasure to reconnect with her a few years ago and discovered we both have a love for Disney.  So Nancy - always remember, "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes"...I hope all your dreams came true.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Nancy was such a loving a generous person. She touched so many lives with her teaching and just being a great friend. I know that she's up in heaven watching over all of us. I will always remember her coming into the grocery store and we would talk and I would take out her groceries to her red volkswagon beatle she had at the time. She'll be missed by so many. When I was asked as a student throughout my years Mrs. Tiede was my favorite and I proudly said that and still will say that! She will be missed!

I heard of Nancys passing lst evening from Kay. My heart was at such a loss. She was one of the first people I met when I cam to Plymouth. She was such a good teacher to little ones. Always a smile a good morning at the door. She is now in heaven with little angels. I just lost a little angel and I am sure Nancy is up there rockering her.She will be missed. Dear boys I was told last evening by Kay that your mother has passed. I remember her teaching those little ones. She stood by the door and greeted them all with a "hello" and a smile. Always looked so cute in every dog gone cute outfit she had. I will miss her but she is and angel in Gods school of little angels. I had the privilege of meeting Nancy about 12 years ago.  Talk about a kindhearted individual.  I pray now that the Lord will surround her with his peace and comfort as she did for many.  You will be missed, Nancy.  Thoughts and prayers to your family.

Our family will always cherish the times we spent together with Nancy and the boys (all 4).  The vacations, cookouts, just hanging out, soccer and basketball games, and life in general with all of you make me smile.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Nancy was one of the first kids I met when I moved here from NY in 1965-she was so sweet to me and seeing her again last year at our "mini" grade school reunion brought back alot of good memories of Goodrich and all the kids from 7th and 8th grade. It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to you dear Nancy, and family.  Nancy and I met in 1976 as beginning teachers in Plymouth. Nancy hugged more 1st and 2nd graders on a daily basis than most of us have ever known! We had families, vacationed together at Hilton Head and Disney World making memories that will last a lifetime.  I believe that your spirit will live on in your family and that you are at peace. Friends forever.....

As a teacher, Nancy has touched many lives, more than she probably ever realized.  I was lucky enough to have had her as my first grade teacher, and also as my friend.  One of the best lessons Nancy taught me was to cherish the magic of Disney World on our family trips together.  A quote from Walt Disney..."Adults are really big kids".  Nancy was definitely a big kid at heart...here's to you, Nancy!  "Now it's time to say goodbye/To all our company/ M-I-C (See you real soon!)/K-E-Y (Why?  Because we like you!) M-O-U-S-E"  You will always be remembered fondly.  My deepest sympathies go out to Nancy's family and many friends.
