Olivia Mary Garces, 90, of Glendale Heights was born July 25, 1924 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to the late Peter and Guadalupe (nee Valdez) Rogers and passed away June 13, 2015. Olivia was the beloved wife of the late Alfonso; loving mother of David (Paula) Garces, Francesca (Mario) Garza, Peter Garces and Laura Garces; cherished grandmother of Olivia Ann Garces, Briana (Ryan) Bessert, Alyssa, Malena, Mario Jr and Sarina Garza and Jordan Caprigno; great-grandmother of Francesca Marie Bessert and dear sister of Cecilia Bergmann and the late Mickey Gloeckle and Bud Rogers. Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights. Prayers will be said Saturday, June 20 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Road, Glendale Heights for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
