Raymond "Ray" Hitchcock, 91, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Naperville, Illinois, died on July 31, 2017. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII from 1941-1945. Ray enjoyed flying, as he was a private pilot, and loved to play golf. He is survived by his wife, Florence Hitchcock nee Tylka; preceded in death by his daughters, Vicki Daniel, and Holly Wise; and will be missed by his grandchildren, Lyndsay, Barkley, Barret, Nathan, and Noelle; and many extended family members and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, (On Rt. 53, 1/2 mile south of Ogden Ave.) Lisle, IL 60532 on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., where a Celebration of Life will take place at 12 p.m. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10am.
