When I think of Bob I remember the picture of him standing with Mat, who was about 3 or 4 at the time, holding his hand & looking at  the floodwaters in Kansas City.   It was such a sweet moment of gradpa & grandson gazing together at the water.

We will always remember the trips that Bob & Mary made so that Bob could officiate at all three of our daughters' weddings.  They traveled to Northern Wisconsin in the heat of summer &  again in the dead of winter as well as to California in the fall.  Bob was always so gracious & came when we called about yet another wedding!  It was very special for our daughters to have their Uncle Bob marry them.  

Bob was always so gracious in his willingness to officiate at family weddings  & funerals.  At their funerals he shared memories of both of our parents which could have been shared only by someone who knew & loved them.
Bob officiated when each of our three daughters were married.  He & my sister, Mary, drove from Kansas City to Wisconsin for Susan & Ken's garden wedding in July, 1999.  In September of the same year they drove to California for Melody & Isaac's  outdoor wedding.  When Judi & David decided to marry in December of 2000 Bob & Mary flew from Kansas City to Wisconsin so he could perform the ceremony.   Judi & David also decided on an outdoor wedding - this time in the snow with a temperature of 10 degrees!  Bob said that was  probably the briefest ceremony he'd ever performed!
We will always remember Bob when we recall those important  family events!

Bob Haas was a wonderfully kind man. I moved to Kansas City when he & my Aunt Mary lived there and they helped it feel like home. He officiated at my and my sisters’ weddings (traveling far to do so) and my daughter’s blessing - those events were even more special as a result. We will remember his love of good food, especially barbecue & pie, good stories, and good music, especially bluegrass. 

It was only in the past few years that I got to know the wonderful person that Bob was.  I will always remember him from visits at our family reunions.  I pray that The Lord our God grants peace and comfort to all of the family and friends.

We're very sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  I have great memories of visiting Wayne and attending his services. He was a very kind man and a great minister. 
Jeffrey and I send our sympathy to Mary Alice and the whole family. 

I’m so glad that Tim and I were able to get to know Bob over the past years.  He was always so interested in hearing about our lives and he and Tim could share their love of the ministry.   

He was so incredibly proud of his family!  We hold you all in our hearts as you celebrate his life.
