Samantha R. Wendell, 29, after a valiant fight with COVID-19, has gone to heaven to be with Jesus Christ. Cherished fiancé of Austin Eskew; beloved daughter of Michael and Jeaneen (nee Webber) Wendell; loving sister of Michael and Mitchell Wendell; dearest granddaughter of Lucille (Dan) Wendell-Dutton, the late Raymond Wendell, Robert and Elizabeth Webber; fond niece of Diane (Lance) Nilsen, Maribeth, Robert (Winnie), Shaun Webber and Denise Picicci. Samantha is now reunited with her special Aunt, the late Barb Czernobil; she is also survived by the entire Eskew Family, many loving cousins, friends and her numerous fur babies.
Samantha loved her job as a surgical technician and she rescued and raised numerous pets. She loved Christmas and elaborate decorations for all the holidays, as well as surprises. Samantha loved her time at Lake Maxinkuckee and hanging out with her many friends. Samantha had a heart of gold and when she set her mind on something, she let nothing stand in her way.
Visitation Saturday, September 18, 2021, 12:00 PM until time of Funeral Service, 3:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, Illinois 60532. Cremation Private.
