Sean Michael Van Dinther was born on June 27, 2007 to his beloved parents, Ian and Jennifer, and passed into eternal life on October 25th, 2023. Friends, family, and acquaintances alike would describe Sean as an intelligent, loving, and gentle soul. His ability to listen, empathize, and support those around him was a truly rare gift. When someone needed a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, or a hug to share, Sean was there, ready to offer his heart without hesitation.
Sean’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, including his devoted family members. He is the loving brother of Grace, Colin and Charlotte. Fond nephew of Michelle (David) Patti, Amy (Alan) Barone, Allison (Steve) Eissing, Stephanie (Paul) Herbst, and Nicole (Brian) Gabryel. Dear cousin of Sophia, Mia, Henry, Mason, Caden, Stella, Sadie, Nolan, Ruby, Dominic, Charlie, Avery and Mora. Adoring grandson of Charles and Rita Roos, John and Joann Van Dinther, and Tonna Crotty.
From a young age, Sean was full of energy, loved people, and wanted to be outside and on the move - whether meeting up with friends, playing sports, fishing, or strumming his guitar. He was a talented wrestler for the Naperville North Huskies. He also played football, skateboarded in the warmer months while hitting the slopes on his snowboard in the winter. He lived his life to the fullest, giving the best and brightest smiles.
As we remember Sean, let his life be a testament to the power of kindness, love, and creativity. His time on earth may have been brief, but the impact he made on the lives of those around him is immense and everlasting.
Let us honor his memory by cherishing the moments we shared with him and, most importantly, by living our lives with the same dedication that Sean embodied every day. In the face of this loss, let us come together to celebrate Sean’s incredible life and remember the happiness, beauty, and joy he brought to us all.
Sean, you will be dearly missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. May you rest in peace, knowing that you made an indelible mark on the world and the lives of everyone you touched.
