

Agnes Lowe Paquette, age 99, passed away on August 28th, 2022. Agnes was surrounded by her loving family. She joins her husband of 70 years, Johnny Paquette and her parents Genevieve and Everett Taylor, her siblings Lorraine Daniels, Ellen Muesenfechter, and Jim Taylor along with countless friends and relatives in the next life.
Agnes is survived by her five children, John (Janet) Paquette, Denise (Bill) Stroud, Joan (John) Paquette-Nolen, Geri (Bob) Paquette and Steve Paquette and her sister, Genevieve Hoffmann. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
She was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She met Johnny Paquette at a USO dance in 1941. They were married during WWII and after the war moved to Little Rock.
Agnes often told stories of her childhood in St Louis and membership in the St Louis Cardinals “Knothole Gang”. She retained her love of St. Louis Cardinals baseball throughout her life and was excitedly following this season.
Agnes served her family and others throughout her life. She was a member of Holy Souls Catholic Church when it was formed from a mission. She volunteered many hours helping with the school and church and loved helping in the school library where she shared her love of reading with the students.
In addition to reading and watching Cardinals baseball, she enjoyed painting, working word puzzles, family, Double Stuf Oreo cookies, bragging about her kids, and tracking the weather.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Souls Catholic Church, Tyler & I Streets, Little Rock, AR 72205 with Fr. Daniel Velasco as Celebrant, Friday September 2nd at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Holy Souls Columbarium.
