Betty Ruth Clevidence, 100, of Little Rock passed away September 22, 2024. She was born February 15, 1924 in Little Rock to the late Benjamin Franklin and Lucille Marie (Hall) Wright. In addition to her parents, Betty was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Grant P. Clevidence; grandson, Jason Kyle Frizzell; and brother, Charles Wright.
Betty was known for being her husband’s biggest supporter and a loving mother to their children. She took care of the house and kids so he could continue his successful career. In their spare time, Betty and Grant enjoyed travelling, especially to Las Vegas, and gambling on the Keno machines. Most importantly, Betty was the oldest living charter member of the Park Hill Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish the memories of Betty include her two children, Ron (Vicki) Clevidence and Carolyn Meins; grandchildren, Thomas (Connie) Frizzell Jr., Christopher G. Clevidence, and Julie (David) Ginn; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Frizzell, OIivia (Eric) DeMott, and Kenzie and Taylor Ginn; and great-great grandchildren, Everest, Ruby, and one on the way.
A brief graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
