Born on December 1, 1941, in Lonoke, to the late Adell Rollins, and Equator Bea, Entron lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and deep devotion to his loved ones. He is now reunited with his son, Norman Rollins; grandson, Princeton Shavis; and siblings, Joyce Conley, Eddie Rollins, Annie Mae Facen, and Andrew Rollins.
Entron proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, a testament to his courage and dedication. Outside of his service, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—playing dominoes and spades, farming, fishing, and most of all, cherishing time with family and friends. Entron was the heart and soul of every gathering, always ready with a joke or a funny story, filling the room with laughter. His humor was a gift, and the echoes of his joyful spirit will remain with us always.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted wife, Mary Rollins; daughters, Felicia Rollins-Bryant (Dwayne), Carla Rollins-Shavis (Patrick), and Princess Rollins-Holt; son, Entron M. Rollins (Nicole); sister, Pearl Thomas; grandsons, Donovan Bryant and Christopher Converse; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at First Baptist Church Highland Park, with a family hour beginning at 11:00 a.m. before the service.
Entron’s warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. While we grieve his loss, we also celebrate a life well lived, knowing his spirit will continue to shine through the many lives he touched.
