James Paul Adams, 67, unexpectedly passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday morning November 28, 2020. James was born in Salina, Kansas November 15, 1953 to John and Delores Adams. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Loyd Adams, his niece Allison and his father, John P Adams. He is survived by his brothers John and Tom and sister Diana as well as his nephew and nieces which he absolutely adored; Amanda, Patrick, Chelsea and Shelby.
He joined the Navy after graduating high school, serving on the USS Guam. After serving 6 years, he joined the Air Force National Guard and served 20 years until retirement as Master Chief.
He also served the state of Arkansas while working for the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, as well as Arkansas Veterans Cemetery. He was a graduate of UCA Conway.
James was a devoted husband to his wife Barbara and missed her deeply upon her passing 3 years earlier.
James will be laid to rest at Barbara’s side once again and eternally at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery.
