Jackie Wayne Stacy, Jr., known to most as Jay, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 29 after a long battle with depression. We find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. Born on May 31, 1995, Jay was a vibrant soul whose life was marked by his deep love for his family and his passion for the simple joys in life.
Jay was the beloved son of Jackie and Angela Stacy. He is survived by his devoted mother; his loving wife, Christy Stacy; and their cherished children, Cara and Ziggy; along with a host of extended family and friends. Jay is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Stacy.
Jay was a 2013 graduate of Catholic High School. He went on to work in restaurant management with hopes of opening his own food truck one day. He had a true talent for cooking and greatly enjoyed it. Jay had a deep appreciation for various genres of music and loved some downtime playing video games. Jay was a sports fan who cheered loudly for the Ohio State Buckeyes, LA Lakers, and the Raiders. Most of all he treasured the time spent with his family and found great pride and joy in his most recent job of being a stay at home dad.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished through the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him.
In memory of Jay, donations may be made to NAMI Arkansas - National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Jay’s presence may be gone, but his love, laughter, and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
