

Leonard Hymes Sr was born in Wilmot, Ar To Jessie and Azalea Lewis Hymes.
My husband was a very hard working man and in his years of working and being a father to his children. My husband was a brilliant man, I never understood why he never wrote a book. My husband worked for the City Of Little Rock, He later retired from the sanitation department. Later on in his life he became a CNA and he worked until his health failed him. My husband loved the Lord, Life and kept his faith until the end. He was a strong willed man a true warrior.
On July 28, 2001 Leonard married Brenda Wiley and they were happily married for 21 years.
Leonard Loved the Lord unconditionally and was a Deacon of Community Of Faith Lutheran Ministry.
Leonard leaves behind to cherish his memory: His wife Brenda - Three sons Lenton, Dennis, Ryan - Three daughters Connie, Pat, Truly. A nephew Carlos that he raised as his own. Two granddaughters Jakylah, Dariyah and one grandson that he raised as his own. He also had the pleasure to raise a number of children and Loved them as his own. Leonard is also survived by three sisters Ora Lee, Shirley Jean, Kay. Two brothers Henry, James. He also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
My husband was a family man and he was all about family, He Loved All Of Them In A Special Way.
In keeping with Leonard’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in his honor.
