Mary Holmes, 85 of Quitman, AR died 27 March 2023. "Darlene" Holmes, loving daughter of Martin and Nora Holmes, has no natural children but was a mother to so many.

Darlene was a gifted musician whose life passion were the people she loved. Always ready with a helping hand and sage counsel, she touched many lives in such a positive way.

She is survived by James and Melanie Storey and Troy & Amanda Thompson and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.

A graveside service will be held 11:00a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Center Point Cemetery in Quitman.
