Nick was one of the first babies baptized at Holy Souls when it was a Mission Church. He spent his first 5 years of school at Holy Souls, his next three at St. Andrew’s School in Downtown Little Rock and his high school years at Subiaco Academy, a boys boarding school near his Grandparents in Paris AR where he excelled as a kicker on the football team. Post-graduation and immediately following WWII he joined the army and was stationed in Heidelberg Germany for 4 years. Upon his return he joined the Post Office where he worked until retiring from the McCain Blvd Bulk Mail Facility in 1990. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golf, fishing and watching westerns and sports shows on TV.
