

Rudy was born in Tuckerman Arkansas on 11/27/28 to Frank and Elizabeth Bauer during the Great Depression.
He was an active member of the Boys Scouts. Rudy graduated high from St Paul’s in Pocahontas at the age of 16 yrs. He attended college at the University of Arkansas in Monticello. Rudy left college and enlisted into the military where he was a member of the 438th U.S. Army Drum and Bugle Corp and played taps for the funeral of numerous soldiers. Rudy returned from the military to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville on a GI bill, where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho’s Fraternity. Rudy worked over 30 years with Wallace laboratories where he was a Professional Medical Sales Rep. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and served as a Boy Scout Leader with the Boy Scouts of America when U.S. Rep French Hill was a young scout. Rudy met the love of his life Grace Booth in 1952 and the two were married for 64 years.
Rudolph is preceded in death by his late wife Grace Booth Bauer; 4 Brothers, Father Ralph Bauer, Ferdinand Bauer, Ernest Bauer, Frank Bauer, Jr.; and his parents Frank and Elizabeth Bauer.
He is survived by his sons Bruce Bauer (Denise) of Little Rock and Mark Bauer (Beth) of Roland; grandson sons: Jordan Bauer (Carole Anne) of Little Rock, Mathew Bauer (Casey) of North Carolina;
4 Great Grandsons: Perrin Bauer and Elias Bauer of North Carolina, and Shepherd Bauer and Holden Bauer of Little Rock; and Brother in Law, Leon Vincent Booth of Little Rock; Niece and God Daughter

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth starting at 6:00 pm then a vigil and rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus at Christ the King and The Pulaski County Humane Society.
