Abe Jude Minde

He graduated from Long Island University and had a career as a retail executive. He then “retired” to a second career of trading stocks. His family was his number one priority.

In addition to his family, Abe enjoyed playing tennis, golf, racquetball, basketball, and softball, running and biking, and traveling with Sonny. His joy of watching his children’s sporting events and activities was second only to watching those of his grandchildren in his later years.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ethel, he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sonia/Sonny, his three children, Erica (Chris) Mesopotanese, Brandon (Claudia) Minde, and Danielle (Greg) Speier, his grandchildren, Ella and Ava Mesopotanese, Madelyn, Joslyn and Evelyn Minde, and Dylan, Tyler and Jared Speier, and his sister Lily Gottlieb, as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm. Burial will follow at Mount Freedom Hebrew Cemetery, 100 South Road, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, on February 27, 2026, at 2:45 pm.
