I just heard of Alex’s passing. We are the same age and I coached Dylan in baseball when he was younger. Alex was one of my favorite guys from North Caldwell.  Barbara, Dylan , and Jared I’m truly heartbroken for your loss. Your Dad was a great man and a great guy.

We just viewed the funeral service for Alex and were deeply moved by your  remarks about him. You spoke so beautifully and were so composed at such a very heartbreaking time. He was such a lovely man and it was clear that he loved you and his boys so much. We pray that time will heal some of your pain.

Dear Huff Family -

What a loving and wonderful tribute to Alex. Thank you for sharing the full-of-life Alex I remember from childhood and the hockey rink -the Alex I want to continue to remember. I am so sorry I couldn't be there in person today. I will be back in town tomorrow and hope to hug you all at shiva. We are so deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Alex Huff.  We met Alex through Travel Hockey, and spent many great seasons with the Montclair Blues.   We got to  know the whole family,  and our prayers go out to Barbara, Jared, and Dylan.  I will always remember his wit, his great smile, and the absolute joy he had in watching his kids play hockey.   Great man, great loss.

We are all so heartbroken to learn this news about our wonderful, kind and sweet friend Alex.

I was heartbroken to hear of Alex's passing. I met him through his ever expanding network and he always has a positive attitude, was always checking in and I always enjoyed our zoom calls. We shared stories of the trials and tribulations of renovating houses, raising kids and the job hunt. My deepest condolences to Alex's family.  I met Alex as part of the Executive Forum, and really enjoyed discussing his career journey over the past year.  He had a contagious energy, an infectious laugh, and an easy way of dissecting the complex.  It was a privilege to be on his rolodex, and I will miss him.

I was very lucky to have met Alex about a year ago.  We had several phone calls and discussions - we had one booked for next Friday!  He was kind, positive, high energy and just a great guy.  I am so sad to have heard the news.  He will be missed.
