February 10, 1932 – March 17, 2022
David, a Korean War Veteran and graduate of Brooklyn College, was raised in Brooklyn, NY, where he met school-yard buddies that became lifetime friends for 80+ years. He raised his family in Parsippany, and he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. David was an entrepreneur who built a jewelry business and assisted many grooms-to-be with one of the happiest days of their lives. He had a true spirit of generosity and servant’s heart – opening his home and heart to friends and family for all occasions.
He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Sarah Chasin, his brother Sol Chasin, and his devoted wife of 56 years, Lois Chasin. Surviving are his children: Larry Chasin and wife Katie, Jeff Chasin and wife Andrea, Steve Chasin and wife Jeanette, nephew Charles, niece Judy, sister-in-law Lillian, and the pride and joys of his life his grandchildren: Jack, Michael, Ilana and Maya.
Services will be Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston, NJ at 1:30 PM.
