When I first started working at NJCA, Dr Gandhi was one of the first doctors to allow me to checkout his patients. He entrusted in me and the care I’d give them. One thing about him, he loved his job and the people he worked with. He was funny, caring, and often times very helpful when you needed advice. He also loved chocolate. So, of course I always made sure I’d have some saved just incase he had a sweet tooth. We love you and will miss you. May you now rest in peace. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.

Knowing you for the past 26 years as a friend and colleague it’s hard to put into words what you meant to all of us. You brought brilliance to your work, but it was your wit, your perfectly timed sarcasm, and your easygoing spirit that truly made every day better. You cared deeply—for your patients, your colleagues, and your friends—and you did it all with a quiet strength that never asked for recognition. Even through these past few years, you faced everything with courage and grace that left us in awe. A gentleman and caring physician .
The loss of  Devang is felt far beyond the hospital walls. In every patient he cared for, every life he  touched, his dedication lives on. We mourn not only a skilled physician, but a compassionate healer and a trusted friend. His  absence leaves a quiet space that cannot be filled, but their impact will never fade.

It was an honor and privilege to know Dr. Devang Gandhi. The struggles of the last few years of his life and how he chose to react to them simply reinforces my perception of who was as a doctor, friend and fellow human being. By returning to work after experiencing such a life altering diagnosis coupled with surviving several challenges caused by the treatments speaks to his strength of character as well as his dedication to his patients and coworkers. 
He was my partner’s cardiologist. He saved his life twice. Without him I a convinced I would not have my partner right now. I owe so much I cannot put it into words. Even though he was not my doctor he treated me with the utmost respect and compassion and he treated my partner with patience and genuine kindness. Over the years he became so much more than simply a clinician he became a friend.
My heart goes out the loved ones he leaves behind. My prayer for him is that every person I love who has passed greet, welcome and help guide him home. I pray his passing was easy and surrounded by love.
He will remain in our hearts and we will always owe him our sincerest gratitude.

One of the best man I ever met.  Not only was he my Dr. but my friend.  I’m a guy who has white coat syndrome but when I saw him he decompressed me. Made me feel so comfortable. In fact my husband always told people that Dr. Gandhi saved his life 10 years ago when he ended up needing quadruple bypass. devang was more than just a doctor to me he was a light during some of my hardest times. we shared so many laughs, conversations about life and even dreams for the future that i’ll always remember. i’ll miss the days when you would just love to turn your music on full volume in your office, or the fist bumps to the whole office as soon as you came in. there is something special about his soul, he was full of so much love, he brought comfort, warmth and peace to everyone around him. he is truly one of a kind and impossible to replace. i am truly blessed to have known him. it hurts deeply knowing that he’s no longer here but i know he’s up there smiling, laughing and continuing to shine his light but just in a different way now. it has been such an honor to be apart of your life devang, i love you and miss you always🤍

I have no words for this overwhelming loss he will be missed .  Dr Gandhi was a wonderful physician who I respected greatly with his knowledge, kindess and compassion for anyone who had contact with him.
