Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Elayne has lived in West Orange, NJ for sixty years. She was a member of both the U.J.A. and B'nai Brith, and had been a member of Congregation B'nai Shalom for over sixty years.
Elayne was the beloved wife of Herbert Punia for sixty nine years, loving mother of Jeffrey Punia (Noreen) and Gayle Tiger (Hayden), devoted grandmother of Adam Punia (Melanie), Ryan Tiger (Amanda), Brittany Paskin (Eric), Alison Kramer (Stephen), Jayme Tiger, and Benji Sacks (Lloyd), cherished great grandmother of Gabriel, Benny, Remy, Harrison, Chloe, Landon, Layla, Ezra, Dylan, and Blake.
