With profound sadness, we announce the death of our precious Lizzie. Beloved wife of Charlie, remarkable and devoted mother of Alex and Andrew, daughter of Barbara Biber Brous and the late Philip Brous, sister of Nancy Brous and Kurt Nelson, and Len Brous and Helen Garey. A deep and unending void has been left in the hearts of her loving family.
Liz was a 1987 graduate of Duke University, where she met her husband of 26 years. She started her career as assistant beauty editor at Vogue, and went on to become beauty director at Seventeen magazine. After raising her two sons, she returned to the publishing world as the style editor for Weight Watchers magazine. She was an active volunteer with multiple causes in her community of Short Hills, New Jersey.
