Evelyn Katz, born Evelyn Dorfman on April 23, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY died on June 29, 2016, at the age of 84 years from a long term illness. She was a devoted and loving daughter to Abraham and Rebecca Dorfman and sister to brothers Gilbert and Milton Dorfman, who predeceased her.
Throughout her life, Evelyn was a wonderful and loving woman, who devoted her time and energy to her family, her three children Richard, Alyson and David , grandchildren, Gabrielle and Joshua Katz, and her extended family. She was a wonderful wife to her husband, Dr. Robert Katz, who predeceased her, whereby she helped him develop his medical practice throughout their 31 years of marriage and she enjoyed fashion, design and the stock market. Those her knew her enjoyed her quick wit, intellect, and humor. A loving spirit who will be very much missed.
Services to be held at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, N.J. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
Donations will be accepted at The Center for Hope, Hospice at 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ in loving memory of Evelyn Katz.
