Evelyn T. Leynor, 95, passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2012 in Whippany. A graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ on thursday, August 30,2012 at 10:30am. Evelyn was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Maplewood, South Orange, and West Orange, before moving to Whippany 8 years ago. She graduated from St. John's University and did graduate work at Seton hall University. She was a Case Worker for the Essex County Welfare board. Mrs. Leynor was actively involved in Community Affairs most of her life. Evelyn was pre-deceased by her adored husband of 58 years, Phllip, and is survived by her two sons, Neal (Linda) and Jeffrey Leynor, and a daughter, Brenna Leynor. Also survived are seven grandchildren, Michael (Leah) Leynor, Nikki Leynor, Justin Feldman, Zoe Feldman, Austin Leynor-Clar, Perry Leynor and Kerri Leynor; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Zackary Leynor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
