Mrs. Evelyn Pearl Meyerson

Evelyn Pearl Meyerson, 84, of West Orange passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, December 20, 2015. Evelyn was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Springfield prior to moving to West Orange 38 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband Milton Meyerson. Surviving are her children Randi Tishler and her husband Peter, Scott Meyerson and his wife Linda Santoro, Cathi Weinstein, and her 8 adoring grandchildren Max, Alex, Molly, Jessica, Jenna, Samantha, Jordyn, and Adam.

Mrs. Meyerson was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She appreciated beauty and culture. Her artistic talents were expressed through her exquisite taste in clothing, her culinary presentations, and most of all in how lovely, warm, and welcoming she made her home. She was a strong and reliable support for her children during challenging times. She cherished her grandchildren and lovingly cultivated a special and unique connection with each one of them.

A funeral service will be offered Tuesday 11:30AM at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ. Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Shiva will be observed at Evelyn’s home on Tuesday from 3 to 9pm and Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 9pm.
