Born on June 10, 1934, in Passaic, NJ, Fred was the son of Sam and Julia Solomon and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1956.
Fred worked as a broker for over 70 years. He enjoyed playing cards, golf, socializing with friends and most importantly spending time with his family.
He was a devoted husband to Stevie, father to Nina, Jill, Jason, and Amy, father-in-law to Stephanie, Steven, Steven, and grandfather to Max, Jamie, Sam, Spencer, Julia, Ava, Jack, and Ginger. Fred was preceded in death by his sisters Doris and Evelyn.
A funeral service will be held on June 30 at 11:00 A.M. at King Solomon Memorial Park in Clifton, NJ. Shiva will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday and Tuesday at the Solomon family home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Fred’s life.
