Frimma Creditor Rosenthal passed away Saturday, January 29 in West Orange, NJ. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 2 at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston, NJ. Interment will follow at B’nai Abraham Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
Born on May 26, 1942, in McKeesport, PA, Frimma and her family moved to Brooklyn, NY where she lived until her marriage to Ivan Rosenthal in 1964. Frimma and Ivan raised three sons in Millburn, NJ before moving to West Orange.
Frimma was the operating room scheduler at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ for 15 years. She was an active member of her Scenic Hill community where she had many friends. She was known for her unbelievably good chopped liver.
Frimma was predeceased by her son Ira, husband Ivan and her sister Lois Redisch. She is survived by her sons Mitchell of Morris Plains and Seth of Medford, Massachussetts, daughters-in-law Gail and Barbara, grandson Noah, sisters Iris Citron and Faye Schwerd, many adoring nieces and nephews and her best friend, Sophia Blake.
