Ira Saltzman, born in Smithtown, Long Island son of Arnold and Carole Saltzman, died on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Ira is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Max and Ilana, his brother Steven Saltzman and his sister Tammy Saltzman. He is predeceased by his parents Carole Zucker and Arnold Saltzman.
Ira was born on February 16, 1966 to Arnold and Carole Saltzman. He graduated from the University of Hartford in 1988 with a Degree in Marketing. He most recently worked for Crane Worldwide Logistics as Global Sales Director; a job he was extremely passionate about. On September 17, 1989 he married Patricia, his college sweetheart. On November 11, 1995 he welcomed his two beautiful children, Max and Ilana, his pride and joy.
Ira was a devoted father and husband. He loved to golf, fish, garden, and do any activities with his children. He adored the dogs in his life; his childhood dog Peppy, and the two dogs he had later in life, Lulu and Pepper.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
