Jared Andrew Leit, age 21, of Livingston, New Jersey, passed away on March 27, 2026. Born in Morristown, Jared started his life in East Hanover but then lived most of his life in Livingston, NJ. He will be remembered as a determined and motivated young man who maintained close relationships with his family and a few friends throughout his life.
From an early age, Jared’s interests reflected his spirited and creative nature. As a younger child he was very into break dancing, and as he grew older he became a gifted artist, primarily drawing animals. He graduated from Livingston High School in 2023 with honors and then attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he was pursuing a combined BS/MS degree in Biomedical Engineering, He also gained professional experience through a six-month cooperative with Johnson and Johnson.
Above all, Jared was a devoted son of Richard and Jaclyn Leit and a cherished brother of Jeremy. He may have adored his dog, Blizzard, most of all.
