Jeffrey Belsik

Jeffrey Stephen Belsik, 50, died June 25, 2012 with his family by his side in Livingston, NJ. A memorial service was held Wednesday at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Chapel in Livingston, NJ. He was born October 17, 1961 to Teri and Arnold Belsik.

An avid angler, Jeff moved to the Florida Keys in 1991 to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a fishing guide captain. He lived out that dream for 20 years, helping introduce others to sport fishing and sharing his passion with the Keys fishing community.

Captain Jeff is survived by his mother, Teri and her husband Burton Steinberg; by his father, Arnold Belsik and his wife, Susan; by his siblings, Gail Belsik and her partner, Nicole Richardson; Karen Hollander and her husband Benjamin; Joan Spiegel and her husband, Danny; and sister-in-law Rani Steinberg; and by his nephews and niece, Tate Hollander, Zev Hollander; Evan Spiegel, Mark Steinberg and Matt Steinberg. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Steinberg.
