Born in Jersey City, John lived his young life in Union City. After high school he proudly joined the Navy and served as an Aviation Structural Mechanic for four years. He went on to work as a Manufacturing Engineer for Curtiss-Wright Corporation. A resident of West Caldwell for over 30 years, affable and fun-loving, John was always willing to help a friend. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Barbara Mascera.
