Born in Newark, NJ 2/20/1954. He was raised in Maplewood, NJ and attended George Washington University. Marc settled in Howell,NJ with his wife Linda and Daughter Danielle.
Marc was a CPA and was partners in Goldsmith & Platter for 40 years. Marc was a past board member of the George Washington University Alumni Association. He was the Past President of the Windmill Club Tenants Association devoting his time to The Kriegman Family Association. Marc was a stamp collector and genealogy enthusiast. Marc was the beloved husband of Linda, father of Danielle Tirabassi (Geoff Tirabassi)and treasured Grandfather of Geoffrey and Guiliana. He is also survived by his mother Carolyn Goldsmith, sister Cindy Phillips (James Phillips), sister in laws Debbie Dart and Wendy dart, cousins Elliot Ballen (Janet Ballen), Mindy Prosperi (Robert Prosperi), Lisa Bender (Greg McCue), Martin Bender (Jacki Bender), Keith Goldsmith (Angie), nieces Hailey Phillips (Brandon Kahler), and Carlee Phillips (Ray Sehadi), nephews Tommy Whitley and Patrick Whitley and a great niece Autumn Kahler and a great nephew Chase Kahler.
Marc will be remembered for his love of family and friends.
