Born and raised in Orange, he lived in Cranford for 45 years before moving to Clark 6 years ago.
Nick was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an electronics technician for almost 40 years first with Westinghouse Electric and then Passaic Valley Sewerage, both in Newark, retiring in 2000.
He was the beloved husband of Marie (nee Russo) Frungillo, loving father of Nicholas A. Frungillo, Jr. and his wife Mimi and Richard Frungillo and his wife Maya, dear brother of Rose Burger and her husband Tom and the late Marie Frungillo, cherished grandfather of Nicholas A. Frungillo, III, Samantha Burany and her husband Zak, and Matteo, Gianluca, Niccolo, and Massimo Frungillo.
Private cremation services are currently being held under the direction of the LaMonica Memorial Home in Livingston, NJ with a military service at a later date in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
