Rae Steinberg

Rae Steinberg 104, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2017 at her home in Palm Beach Gardens surrounded by her loving family. Rae was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late Rose and Hyman Eisen. She was predeceased by her sister Lee Chernack and brother Louis Eisen. Rae and her late beloved husband Herman Steinberg were married for 51 years. She is survived by her three children Barbara Nestler, Shelley Karmiller and her husband Ron, Dr. Gerald Steinberg and his wife Peggy. She had great pride in her loving grandchildren, Helaine and Bruce Sadowitz, Drs. Jeff and Ellen Nestler, Steven and Cathy Karmiller, Dr. Gary Nestler and Julie, Molly and Dr. David Boyce, Dan Steinberg and his fiancé Dr. Emily Olson. She was passionately devoted to her cherished twelve great grandchildren and enjoyed an extraordinary relationship with them. In addition to raising her three children, she was an Executive Vice President for a large retail company in New Jersey until her retirement to Florida.

The family would like to thank all the staff at La Posada for making her final years so pleasant. Our special thanks to Trustbridge Hospice angels for helping to make her passing so gentle.

There will be a funeral service on Sunday, June 11th at 11:45 at Bernheim, Apter & Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ, with interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
