It with sincere condolences that I sent you my fond memories of your mother and wife. Renee and I taught many years together at Aubrey Park Elementary in Eugene Oregon. She was so good at what she did,
as a special education teacher. We taught side-by-side, and when she left for New Jersey. We somehow lost touch.  I loved her so much. She always made me laugh, sometimes at her own expense, but it was always so much fun to be with her. Until a week ago I did not know that Renee had dementia, and was in a memory care facility. I was able to watch the service today and my heart goes out to your family. 
May her memory be for a blessing.

I have several wonderful memories of Renee as she and Andy were one of the first people I met when I moved to Eugene in 1976.
She was a wonderful friend and a caring, competent and loving teacher; I remembered subbing for her and I was impressed on how well she engaged with her special needs  children. There was one boy who was a challenge as he missed his teacher that day and had a rough time with change. I promised him that Renee would return the next day!
I appreciated  Renee  helping me with creating and printing my business cards for substitute teaching which I still use today.
Renee and Andy let me stay with them for several days after I split up with my ex-wife; they were very gracious, generous  and compassionate when I needed it the most.  Renee also patiently helped me with my family geneology. 
Renee with be missed by many….My her memory be for a blessing.

At the rising sun and at its going down; We remember them.  At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter; We remember them.  At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring; We remember them.  At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer; We remember them.  At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of the autumn; We remember them.  At the beginning of the year and when it ends; We remember them.  As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as We remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength; We remember them.  When we are lost and sick at heart; We remember them.  When we have decisions that are difficult to make; We remember them.  When we have joy we crave to share; We remember them.  When we have achievements that are based on theirs; We remember them.  For as long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as, We remember them.

We're so sorry to learn of Renee's passing. 

We remember all the good times we had together with the four Couples - celebrating Family occasions, special events, and just being together for great times.

I share in your sorrow and send love to all those who were touched by her. She was my dear cousin and she was always very kind and loving to me.   I will  miss her.

Renee was a fellow teacher and a great friend. An excellent teacher herself, she dedicated her efforts beyond her own classroom to improve the  Eugene, Oregon,  4J school district. On a personal level, Renee and I shared some of life’s big passages - birth of children and marriage. Renee was a dedicated parent who loved her children deeply. She was devoted to Andy. 

I was sad to learn in 2015 of Renee’s cognitive decline and now of her death. Her life had meaning and brought goodness to others. I will remember her. My sincere condolences to Isaac and Freyda, who my late husband John and I knew and adored when they were children, and admired as adults with their own families and careers. My heart goes out to Andy, also a good friend, on this difficult loss for him. I am sending love from Oregon especially on this day, March 12th, and always.
