

Richard Tull 'Lived and loved life fully' Richard Tull, 76, of Roseland, N.J., died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2016, after battling colon cancer for the past 15 months. The service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 1 p.m. at Temple B'nai Jeshurun. Interment to follow at the B'nai Jeshurun Cemetery, Hillside, N.J. Shiva will be held at the Tull home in Roseland on Thursday following interment until 8 p.m., Friday 12 noon to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday evening 7 to 9 p.m.
Richard was born on April 23, 1940, to Selma and Nat Tull. He graduated from West Orange H.S. with the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Lynn Flusser Tull. He earned his B.A. from Dickinson College, spent two years as an officer with the U.S. Army in Ft. Ord, Calif., and had a career in real estate with Archie Schwartz Co., later McBride Corporate RE. Dick loved tennis, the Mets/Giants, Dickinson College, Camp Greylock, poker, his many friends and relatives, and most importantly his three daughters and loving wife. He loved a party and his smile always lit up a room. He will be remembered as one of the most positive men anyone ever met and lived and loved life fully.
Richard is survived by his wife, Lynn of Roseland; daughters, Lisa Shaw and husband, Michael, Lori Bass and husband, Michael, and Jodi Lipe and husband, Scott, and his six grandchildren, Adam, Drew, Nikki, Jaden, Sammi, and Carly, and his brother, Michael and wife, Carol Selzer, his sister-in-law, Daphne (Flusser). He was the BEST OF THE BEST!
