Our time with Rima and Arc started with what we called our "Russian Picnics". Larry was the master of ceremony and Rima was the hostess. We always had a wonderful time with everyone and it was Rima who made sure of that. She ensured we knew everyone and the food was always special.  Rima smiled and laughed us all into being a part of.  To watch all of us grow older together and chronicle the development of all the children into adulthood was like a very large family.  Rima was the Matriarch.  She will be sorely missed and remembered.

Totya Rima was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was kind, caring person. As much as she was warm and loving, she was also strong and resilient. She was so vibrant and lively, she was the life of the party! She was also a loyal friend and confidant to my mom. She was so proud of her amazing kids and grandkids.  Her loss will leave a void in many people’s lives but her memories will always be with us.

Rima lit up every room she walked into. Her energy was vivacious, radiating love and happiness - especially through her beautiful voice and sweet poems. She was an amazing soul and will never be forgotten. May she rest in paradise. Our deepest condolences go out to the Luskin Family.

We always looked forward to seeing Rimma. Her upbeat attitude,  quick wit,  sense of humor and cooking skills added to any gathering. We will miss her. Arlene and Marty Yolles. 

Having Rimma as a friend was such a gift. She had a unique ability to love life as it comes, to overcome problems with a smile. She often told me “count your blessings” and this was her grateful way of living her life. Spending time with Rimmochka was always joy, fun, inspiration. No words can justify our loss. She will be irreplaceable! 

Intelligent, educated, smart, multitalented, caring, beautiful in and out, the heart of any company, contagious smile, true friend… is just an abbreviated description of the Rima we loved… gone too soon, remembered forever 

Thank you for your kind words. To all those planning to attend the funeral  in person, please know that our families were exposed to Covid last week, likely on Thursday or Friday. Naeem and I tested positive and will be past our 5 days mark on Monday. Clark and Nina's household has also tested positive more recently, however likely contracted it at the same time as we did.  We will all be attending the funeral and will be properly masked. We are also all vaccinated and boosted. We want you to be aware and able to make an informed decision regarding your own attendance. We will understand and respect whatever decision you make. We only ask that if you do come, to ensure as much as safety as possible, please wear a mask. Rimma was all about Love. She loved her life and everyone in it.
And she loved her family more than life itself. 

She put her heart in everything she did; she cooked with passion, ate with joy, hosted with love and brightened every party she was invited to. 

She was the best friend someone could wish for: always near, loyal and giving, thoughtful and encouraging. Her kindness and generosity had no bounds. 

She knew how to love and was loved by everyone who knew her. She hardly met someone she didn’t like.

Rimma was ray of sunshine, even in a gloomy weather, with infectious laughter and loving heart.
And she was so much fun!
It’s with love and unforgettable humor she dedicated to us her countless poems which always made our celebrations more fun. We will get no more hilarious documentaries of our shared life experiences, but we will forever cherish the ones she gifted us with. 

She left a void that will never be filled. She was and always will be part of our lives, loved by us, our parents, our children and grandchildren. We are blessed to have had her in our lives. 
We will miss her terribly. We already do.

Rimma was extremely talented and a very, very nice person.
I remember our first meetings in her Rockaway house during the preparation for our kids wedding. Rimma wrote the song, we practiced and we had so much fun!!!
Her smile, energy, her warm heart and love will always stay with us.

 I  will always remember Rimmochka -so beautiful ,young ,kind, smart , talented, generous …it’s hard to express my sorrow, why the god takes the best ones? 

Rimma was a wonderful, caring, extremely generous, beautiful, happy, and loving person! As a child, I always looked forward to visiting Rimma in her home in Rockaway, eating her delicious home-cooked food and swimming in the pool with all of my cousins!! I loved our conversations and laughs! She was so cool, outgoing, and fun! I was always excited for all the family parties Rimma hosted! I remember the creative poems and songs she would write with her sister Vita which they performed at my mother’s birthday parties!! I will miss seeing Rimma at our family gatherings!  

Rimma was a very special woman - always full of joy, kindness, and generousity of spirit. She had a gift for words, and was quick with a creative story or funny poem or even a synopsis of a complicated book. Her cooking was EPIC, and embedded with meaning. I will always value our time together and her beautiful and supportive relationship with my dad. She was a person that knew how to love. I  learned a lot from her and her way of living, and will always carry her in my thoughts. My condolences to the entire family. May her memory be a blessing. 

There was always a smile on Tyota Rimma's face. Look at every photo. It's a contagious sign of a life well-lived: focusing on every joy. This is how I remember her during every family event. Sending love and warm wishes to Marina & Clark. She's in good hands with your dad.. RIP

Tyota Rimma, came to support me in picking up my first Great Dane (after King )from the airport in 2011, because it was a special breed to all of us from when Dyada Adik introduced us to this breed with Lizzy.  We both felt the need to be together for this special moment in bringing another Dane into our family.  I was honored, blessed and greatful.  Danes have a special place in my heart.  Tyotya Rimma will be greatly missed.

Rimma was larger than life! Always smiling, laughing, and going on adventures. She loved her family and friends fiercely and will be missed by many. Rimma, thank you for everything over the years. I love you and will always miss you!
