Ronald Aronowitz, 85, passed away peacefully in Livingston, NJ on Dec. 18, 2020. He was born in Passaic, NJ to Herman Aronowitz and Muriel Brodish Aronowitz. Ron received a Bachelor Of Science degree in Mathematics from New York University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ.
He was honorably discharged from the United States Army and later served in the National Guard. Ron had a long business career encompassing leadership roles at Hercules Powder Company, Cadence Industries, Revlon and Elizabeth Arden. He retired to a second career teaching college business courses and volunteering his time at Kessler Institute, Daughters of Israel and many other institutions. Ron loved all sports and was a passionate lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and Rangers.
His true joy in life, however, was spending time with his treasured family and lifelong friends. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Audre Zbar Aronowitz, his son, Eric, daughter, Lisa Borodkin, son in law, Michael Borodkin, grandchildren, Steven and Julia Borodkin, sister, Sheila Stern, and his grand-dog, Mallie.
