Salvatore Thomas Guidone

The visitation with take place at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 4-8 pm. Friends and relatives are invited directly to St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Cedar Grove for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 am. Cremation will be private.

Born in Paterson, Sal lived in Clifton before moving to Cedar Grove in 1972.

He attended St. Peter’s College where he earned a degree in Chemistry and continued his education at Seton Hall University earning a Masters degree in Business.

An Army Veteran, Sal began working at Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley where he remained for 40 years, first as a Chemist, and then as Assistant VP Director of Purchases, before retiring 20 years ago.

He is the beloved husband of Joanne (nee Scrivanich), loving stepfather of Christopher Moore and his wife Joanna, and Colin Moore and his wife Mary, and cherished step grandfather of Alex, Sabrina, Kevin, and Kelly.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans or the ALS Association.
