Susan B. Turk, age 85 passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Susan’s spark shone bright from an early age. At Irvington High School, where she met her beloved Michael, she was spirited and a social butterfly. Susan was always the life of the party, entertaining people and lighting up the room wherever she went. Whether it was her work with community theatre, time on the tennis courts, passion for skiing or just being with her family, Susan saw the positive in everyone and was devoted to making those around her smile. She took pride in her work with The Valerie Fund and various other charitable organizations. Susan will be remembered for all the love and positive energy she put into the world.
Susan is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael of 63 years.
Susan will be greatly missed by her devoted children, Deborah and Mark Levy and Cynthia and Ken Wolfe, and cherished grandchildren, Marty and Alyssa Levy and Michelle Levy and Becca and Jamie Wolfe.
The family will be receiving guests for Susan on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at King Solomon Cemetery, 550 Dwasline Road, Clifton, NJ 07012.
