Born and raised in Livingston and West Orange, Victor was a graduate of West Orange High School. Victor and his wife Debra raised their family in Edison before moving back to West Orange 16 years ago.
Victor ran the family business Starlight Tuxedos in Bloomfield and worked alongside his wife Debra for 45 years. He was loved by all; neighbors, customers and acquaintances. The Bloomfield PBA honored him as the "Man of the Year in 2009". He was the warmest, kindest man. A big “sun worshiper”, Victor and his family spent many of their summers in Long Branch, and in recent years he could be found in front of his home or at the pool catching some rays.
Victor lost both of his parents at an early age. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Debra (Goldstein); children: Jaime and her husband Anthony Lauro, and Adam Lewis and his wife, Meghan. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Chase, Addison, Paige, Ari and Tahli; Victor’s sister, Janie Lewis, brother-in-laws Steven and Paul, sister-in-law Eva and his wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
