

Mr. Victor, 86, beloved husband of Carol K. Victor who predeceased him, passed away Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Warren H. Victor was born on Long Island on June 2, 1930. He was raised and lived as a proud resident of Westfield, New Jersey for over 80 years.
Warren was a graduate of Bradley University, where he was an accomplished track and field athlete. He joined the US Air force during the Korean War and following his service to our country he returned to Union County where he was the CEO and President of the Amity Lamp Corporation, which was a successful business for over 50 years.
In 1980, Mr. Victor was appointed by Governor Kean, and became chairman of the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust (NJEIT). Mr. Victor had also served under 6 governors as the Commissioner for the New Jersey Water Supply Authority, which supplies clean water for more than two million people.
He was also a founding trustee for the New Jersey Stem Cell Research and Educational Foundation, former president of the New Jersey Tennis Foundation, as well as former chairman of the Passaic River Coalition.
Mr. Victor was a long time active member of the New Business and Industry Association. He was also a tireless advocate for Kidney Disease and Organ Transplantation.
Warren enjoyed sports and played many years of competitive tennis and golf.
He was lifetime member of Shackamaxon Country Club and Temple Emanuel of Westfield, New Jersey.
He was a dedicated advocate and supporter of community college education and was recently honored by the Union County College Foundation as the 2016 Man of the Year for the importance of his role in our community.
He leaves behind his daughters Jill Morton of Boca Raton, Florida and Terri Seeley and son-in-law John of Short Hills, New Jersey. In addition to his seven cherished grandchildren, Ben and Jamie Seeley, Mark and Jen Morton, Jessica Seeley, Michael Morton, Jack Seeley, a great granddaughter Myla Bernard Seeley, and his beloved great Dane, Princess.
Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, 1025 South Orange Avenue, Short Hills, New Jersey. Interment to follow at the Beth David Cemetery in Kenilworth, New Jersey.
