Alberto "Berto" Nesti

He is the beloved husband of 56 years to Grace, father to John (Kimm). Nonno to Cassandra (Rachel), Alexander, Nicholas (Jesse), Mitchell, Sebastian, and Maia. Bisnonno to Lydia and Lillith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Giovanni and Veronica (Ugolini), and his beloved siblings.

Alberto will be remembered for the immense love he had for his family, his resounding laughter, and his amazing food. Aside from his family, his garden and working with his hands were his happiness. He loved to sing and dance, and he was always making people smile. From his time in the Italian airforce, to moving to a new country for his true love and raising a family, he made sure to teach us about what matters most - family. He will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind soul that will be forever engraved in our hearts.

In place of flowers, the family is requesting that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in his name.

Funeral Visitation will be held at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, on April 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with memory sharing at 6:00 pm.

Funeral In State will take place at St Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152, on April 28, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Berto will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
