My dear friend Susan, Christina and Alex,
I am so very sorry  to hear of your sudden loss of Alex...  What a shock it must have been for you all - I can't imagine your sorrow.  Ironically, I saw Alex not long ago and thought how good it was to see him.
There are no words one can say - just know that you all are in my thoughts and hope that you are coping as well as you can.  I am here for you.

My father and I shared many laughs, tears, arguments, and much love.  We shared fun traditions like going to the auto show, watching the Detroit Red Wing dominate and the Lions suck, planting up the yard in spring, attending Greek fest, and taking the occasional shot of Ouzo. As a family, he was our provider and protector. Every move and decision he made in life was always meant to benefit his family in the end. He also cherished mementos he kept from my sister and I through out our lives, some of which we only found after his death, which has warmed our broken hearts.  My Dad always harped on my about where to go and what to do in life. While at the surface this drove me nuts, I've always known that he did it to push me as I grew in to an adult, to not settle, to do the work and to get everything out of life that I want. I promise you dad, I listened, and I will do my best. It will be very hard to watch a hockey game, go to the auto show, celebrate our Greek heritage, or plant up the yard without you. It will be even harder not to have your help navigating life's tough times. But I will always keep you with me in some way through what ever comes next, and I know you will be there for me. I love you, Dad.

A My darling husband Alex  of almost 32 yrs was taken from me without a warning. I am devastated to say the least.  He was a wonderful husband and a great father. He was kind even if he complained about whatever it was he didn't want to do, he did it anyway as he never wanted to disappoint anybody especially his family. He surprised me on our 30th wedding anniversary with an Alaskan Cruise. We had such a great time!! I will never forget that vacation. 
 I will keep his memory and his love close to my heart.

   You were always a big part of my life- being there for my birthdays, celebrating life events and spending time together over the holidays. Every time I saw you we were always greeted with your big smile and it warms my heart thinking about those times. I remember when my Grandmother passed away you brought me so much comfort by sharing old stories about her. You defined what it meant to be a Godfather and you were a great one. More recently we caught up in Brooklyn when you were in town visiting for work. This was very special because I was an adult  now living my own life, married with a career and you played a part guiding me a long the way. Rest in peace Nono

I have many so many fond memories of my cousin, Alex.  All of our visits as children, our family at his house, his family at ours. Christmases and many Easter’s together over the years as children, teenagers and later as adults with our own families. A couple of years ago, while on a trip to Boston, he paid us a visit. I remember being so happy to be able to spend time with him. All of these memories have a place in my heart, but his visit to us is the most special because it’s the last time I saw him.

It is with great sadness that my family found out about our friend Alex going to be with our Lord....
Alex was our Softball Coach, fellow player and friend and there was never a time he wasn't calm, collected and smiling.
He always exuded confidence and professionalism in everything he did.
Ironically, I was recently watching some old video footage of us playing Softball together with Nativity Church and it brought a smile to my face.

May God bring your family Peace and Strength during these very difficult times. You are already missed my friend...

My dad was my rock. I will always remember the sweet and sentimental man he was. I will forever cherish our moments together and seeing him every morning before work. He worked so hard right until the end. I'll be listening to butterfly kisses, our song, on repeat. Please visit me in my dreams, daddy. 

Oh how special it was to have Jonathon’s Godfather a part of the most special day for us - our wedding! We will always hold those memories close to our hearts.  We always had such a great time together when he would stop to see us in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. May he Rest In Peace and his spirit forever shine bright. With love, Marissa
